In a society where the eminence and praise of men are constantly held high, the accomplishments of women sometimes go un-noticed. Taking into account the milestones women reach every day, the SALT crew felt it was our duty to dedicate a column to these extraordinary achievements. With the exploitation of women through media and music at large, it is of great importance for us to recognize the amazing feats of the women around us. For our inaugural print we chose to celebrate Ms. Christie Grant an artist who currently resides in our very own Atlanta, Ga.
